The Force Unleashed Yet Again: Day Two: Magic and Melee

Force Unleashed 2 went a bit off the rails compared to all those stormtrooper variants in the first game.

Force Unleashed 2 got a little wacky and extra video-gamey with the enemy variety, giving Papa Palpatine even more ways to cause his enemies pain.

The red-clad Sith Acolytes were trained with low-level Force abilities, something you’d think the Sith as an organization wouldn’t be too keen to share. Despite their similarities to royal guards, they do not engage in melee combat and instead rely on their powers.

This next one is kind of cheating but I realized how similar they were later on, what with the white sabers and monochrome armor. This white outfit is meant to be the experimental Jedi armor skin for Starkiller, but if I tweak the helmet it could actually double as an Imperial saber guards. It isn’t the awful shade of gold from the game so maybe it’s an improvement actually?Saber guards are the opposite of Sith Acolytes in terms of gameplay and fighting – they only use lightsabers and are thus weak against Force attacks.

We continue tomorrow with more of Force Unleashed Week: Another One!
