Metal Marvel Mercenaries

Figbarf celebrating bounty hunters and weird mercenaries from TWO Marvel universes! (You know, Star Wars and the regular one)

Valance the Hunter, Vukorah (from Star Wars: Bounty Hunters comic, left) Deadpool, Cable, and Stryfe (Marvel X-Men comics)

I’ve been on a big X-Men kick lately, reading comics and rewatching the classic animated series for…whenever they feel like putting out X-Men ’97.

Valance uses the torso of Nick Fury, a blue pair of Han Solo pants, and a Lego movie robot face to complete his cyborg look, plus a big blaster with a bayonet based on his classic appearances in the 1977 era of Marvel Star Wars comics. Vukorah has the torso of a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles character named Karai (from the Michael Bay movie,) the face of DC’s Huntress (from the collectible minifig,) a classic samurai helmet, and a Gladius similar to her vibro knife/sword.

Cable is an update of purist figure I’d been wanting to update for a long time and I’m really happy with him. He uses three existing Marvel figures for parts – 2012 Magneto’s face, the right arm of the CMF Wolverine, and Beast’s CMF torso (both from (from 2023.) He has nexo knights armor and dual molded legs to round out the outfit. Stryfe uses legs of the Lego Batman CMF Tin Man, I believe an Ultron variation torso, and some pointy thing for his helmet (feel free to comment if you know!)
