These Ships Are All Red and Stripey and Have You Voted Yet?

Small, medium, and large Republic ships that are all red and have interesting stripes thanks to the use of wedge tiles and plates. What else do they have in common? They protect the Republic. And so should you by voting. This post would look a lot better if the ships were blue and stripey but that’s not what Lego put out a bunch of this year, now is it?

To all my US followers, tomorrow is the big day. I’m not happy, you may not be happy – the two party system frankly isn’t built on happy and hasn’t worked out all that well for some time. But participating is the key. Apathy is as much of a vote in favor for whoever you don’t agree with. So use your voice. By mail, in person, who cares. Google it and figure it out.

I’m Bad at Posting Here: 2024 is Also Happening

I do Star Wars posts on the internet because I still care about how it feels to hyperfixate like a child.

Project K Part 5: Droid Companions

Droids are a basic part of Star Wars, and Knights of the Old Republic delivered on iconic droid companions. However, they are underrepresented in Lego form, much like the Old Republic era itself. I aim to fix that.

The Site is not Dead and Here’s Two Lego Jawas in a Trench Coat to Prove It

No words. Just Utooni. Okay a few words…

It’s been a while. I’m always working on stuff but I’m really bad about sharing it. Looking to post here more often, if nothing else just to have my ideas down. Anyway, I tried building Utooni from the upcoming Star Wars game Hunters.

These little ones were no easy task. Took a few tries to get one I was happy enough with sharing. Utooni is simply two Jawas scrapped from the waist down. Lower Jawa (are they collectively Utooni, both named Utooni..?) has a 2×4 bracket on his back supporting a brick-built backpack to hold the second Jawa up as close to the shoulder area I could manage. I tried half a dozen combinations of capes before settling on The Last Jedi Luke Skywalker’s cape, which isn’t a match for color but does hide the backpack slightly better with its shape.
